Shipping Policy

We can ship to most address in the world.  Please note that due to restrictions on some products they cannot be shipped to international destinations.  We occasionally offer free shipping promotions.  Free shipping applies ONLY to domestic U.S. shipping addresses and does not include Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, APO and other addresses outside the lower 48 states.  Shipping rates for many items are weigh-based and the weight of items can be found on the checkout page.  All weights will be rounded up to the next full pound to reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use.

 

Calculated Shipping Cost

All shipping costs are based on UPS or US Postal Service that you select in the checkout process.  Please allow up to 7 - 10 days for your delivery.  Shipping charges are non-refundable.  Shipping charges quoted on the site do not include insurance, delivery signature conformation or similar charges.  JIC Readiness Supply is an online e-commerce business.  Products will ship to you from our location in Reidsville, NC or from the location of or suppliers.  We reserve the right to upgrade the shipping method or carrier at no additional cost to the customer.  All shipments are FOB origin.  Please read the FOB origin section below.

 

FOB Origin

All items ship FOB Origin.  This means that once we have safely delivered your shipment into the hands of UPS, the Postal Service, or another carrier, we are not responsible for any damage, loss or other non-delivery or miss-delivery issues (this does happen on rare occasions).  Once your purchase is out of our hands we can no longer be responsible for your item(s).  We recommend purchasing the optional package insurance if you are concerned about your package.  In the rare even that you may experience a problem, please contact us and we will gladly work with you to assist in sorting out the problem and facilitate delivery.


Shipping Time

Most orders will ship in 1 to 3 business days, provided the product ordered is in stock. Orders are not processed or shipped on Saturday or Sunday, except by prior arrangement. We cannot guarantee when an order will arrive. Consider any shipping or transit time offered to you by this site or other parties only as an estimate. We encourage you to order in a timely fashion to avoid delays caused by shipping or product availability.

 

Out-of-Stock Products & Inventory

Most items on JIC Readiness Supply are in stock and available for immediate shipment.  All items are subject to prior sale.  During high demand order times we may be unable to update the website quickly. We will ship your product as it becomes available. Usually, products ship by the next business day. However, there may be times when the product you have ordered is out-of-stock, which will delay fulfilling your order. We will keep you informed of any products that you have ordered that are out-of-stock and unavailable for immediate shipment. You may cancel your order at any time prior to shipping.  All prices and availability will be confirmed when the order is processed.  If you have concerns about availability, please call us at 336-361-3144 or email us at [email protected] prior to placing your order.  All orders are shipped in the order they are received. 


Multiple Product Orders

For multiple product orders, we will make every attempt to ship all items contained in that order at the same time. It is not uncommon for an order to be shipped in multiple boxes and arrive on different days. Products that are unavailable at the time of shipping will be shipped as they become available, unless you inform us otherwise. You will only be charged for products contained in a given shipment, plus any applicable shipping charges. You will only be charged for shipping at the rate quoted to you on your purchase receipt. The entirety of this shipping charge will be applied to the first product(s) shipped on a multiple shipment order.


Faster Shipping Options

Faster shipping options are available by special request.  Please call us at 336-361-3144 or by email at [email protected] prior to placing your order to inquire about faster shipping options and the revised shipping cost.  Faster shipping options will increase your shipping cost up to triple or more the cost of normal ground delivery.  No weekend or observed holiday delivery options are available.

Note:  Some items are not eligible for expedited shipment due to FAA regulations (e.g. matches, fuel and similar items).

 

Special Shipping Instructions

We do our best to accommodate requests for special shipping instructions.  Place a note in the comments section when you are checking out or contact us by phone at 336-361-3144 or by email at [email protected] to discuss your special shipping request.

 

Order Revisions 

Orders revisions can be made only before the order ships.

 

Order Cancellations 

Order cancellations for any reason are subject to a 3% order cancellation fee plus any shipping charges we may have incurred if the order has already shipped.

 

Refused or Undeliverable Orders 

All undeliverable or refused orders will be refunded, however a 3% order processing fee and all shipping charges (including return shipping charges) will be deducted prior to issuing the refund.  Please Note:  UPS makes up to three delivery attempts.  After the third delivery attempt, if no alternate delivery arrangements have been made with UPS by the receiver at the delivery address, the shipment will be returned to us and therefore considered a Refused/Undeliverable Order.

 

Delivery Delays

Incorrect Shipping Addresses may delay the delivery of your order and will result in an ADDRESS CORRECTION FEE of $12.00 for each package in the shipment.  We reserve the right to pass along to you any and all fees assessed by the carrier to address-correct your package once it is underway.  To help prevent delivery delays and Address Correction Fees, please double check the shipping address prior to submitting your order.  The most common mistakes made when providing us with shipping addresses are an incorrect zip code, wrong street number, missing apartment/suite number, and/or missing company name.  If you provide an inaccurate address or your package is refused or returned for any reason that is not our fault, we will not refund you the shipping costs and may assess an additional charge if the carrier charges us to return the item to us (a common UPS practice).  If you want us to re-ship your item, you will have to pay shipping costs a second time.  If you do not want your item re-shipped, we will treat your package as if it was a return.

 

Weather-related conditions 

Weather-related conditions may cause a delay in the delivery of your order.  Contact us or visit www.UPS.com if you have any questions regarding current delivery exceptions in your area.

 

APO/FPO 

We welcome APO/AFP orders and were glad to ship to our men and women in uniform, as well as the civilians supporting them.  We do not consider APO/FPO shipments to be international, and we ship to APO/FPO addresses via Priority Mail.  Please provide a full and correct address and do not include any country name other than the United States.

 

General Shipping Information

We may require some orders to be shipped to the Billing Address of your credit card.

We offer international shipping to many countries.

Not all items are available for sale outside the U.S.  Some of the items we sale may be prohibited for sale outside the U.S. by the U.S. government.  We will not ship such items outside the U.S.  This includes, but is not limited to, most night vision devices, handcuffs, firearms parts etc.

The quality and timeliness of Postal Service deliveries in other countries varies.  As a result, orders sent to addresses outside the United States via postal service are sent at the customer’s risk.  If you want a timely delivery and point-to-point tracking, please select a UPS shipping method.

Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges.  These charges are the buyer's responsibility.  Be sure to check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to buying.  Customs fees are usually collected by the carrier on delivery but may be billed later.  We will not ship items as gifts, only as commercial samples or merchandise.  Please do not ask us to put artificially low prices on our customs paperwork.

 

If you buy an item that is illegal to import into your state or country, or if your item is confiscated by customs officials or law enforcement for any reason, we cannot make refunds to you.  You (the buyer) are responsible for knowing your local laws and determining the legality of your purchase.
